Bungalow BLUE is a Gallery and Shop featuring beautiful art and fashionable and edgy useful items that are created through upcycling and repurposing reclaimed, recycled and natural materials.  We support artists who believe in the philosophy that all things made by man can have a second life as art, home decor, fashion accessories, jewelry, and more. We also feature personal products such as soaps, lotions, serums, and candles that are made from natural and/or organic ingredients.

BLUE is the New Green

Most of our artists make unique one-of-a-kind creations due the nature of the processes they use. Whatever you might purchase at bungalow BLUE, feel good that it was made with the environment in thought. Whether it is a message board made with a vintage frame and wine corks (re-purposing) or a wall plaque made with reclaimed wood (upcycling) or a stylish ipad bag made with plastic bottle fabric (recycling) or even yummy smelling soap (natural or organic) it was likely made by people who care, some who care enough to donate a percentage of their profits to deserving organizations.

Bring a Bag

We do our best to be as green as we can but we can't claim to be EcoPurists, at least not today. We do recycle or reuse all used paper, boxes, etc into price tags, packaging, and sometimes useful art. Bring your own bag, come with big pockets, or buy one of the many bags we offer to carry away your goods. If you forget your bag we will provide a recycled paper one as long as you promise to recycle it too.

Green Wednesdays

We try our best to be green. On Wednesdays we accept in-store donations of used items which we then recycle or upcycle into usable items. If you have wine corks, old broken crayons, candles, bottle caps, silverware, clear glass plates, old vintage picture frames, buttons, record albums,...well the list goes on... Call us or come in with your stuff and we'll let you know if we can take it off your hands. We may even throw you a few bungalow BLUE bucks to use on a future purchase if we really like what you've got.

Workshops for Grown-ups

Learn to repurpose and upcycle by attending one of our mini workshops offered days and evenings. We'll supply all the materials and the know-how and you'll leave with something spiffy that you’ve made yourself.
